Our story

It began with grandma’s diner

Our name comes from “Ikoi Shokudo,” the small diner our grandmother ran in Sakai. People dropped in, caught their breath, and went on their way. (“Ikoi” means a place to rest.)

We carry that spirit to Kyobashi with onigiri and a good cup of coffee. The rice is Omi rice grown by our family in Otsu, Shiga, and each onigiri is packed with fillings that mix together in your mouth.

We open at 9:00. Pick up freshly made onigiri and a coffee, then take a short walk to Osaka Castle Park for breakfast outdoors.

A simple breakfast, such as a pickled plum onigiri with green tea, comes to around ¥600–700 (prices exclude tax).

Takeout only (no seating). We don’t have tables inside, so the park is our dining room.
