おにぎりって何？日本のソウルフードを、京橋から

おにぎりは、ごはんを三角や丸ににぎった、日本でいちばん身近な食べもの。コンビニにも家庭にもあって、子どもからお年寄りまで毎日食べています。手で持って、そのまま食べられるのが魅力です。

どうやって食べるの？

温めても、冷たいままでもOK。海苔が巻いてあれば、その海苔ごとパクッと。フォークも箸もいりません。中には具（梅・鮭・昆布など）が入っていて、ひとくちごとに味が変わります。

Onigiri is a rice ball — Japan's most everyday food. Shaped into a triangle or round and often wrapped in nori (seaweed), it's eaten daily by everyone from kids to grandparents. The best part: you hold it in your hand and eat it as is.

How do you eat it?

Warm or cold, both are fine. If it's wrapped in nori, just bite straight through — no fork or chopsticks needed. Inside you'll find a filling (plum, salmon, kombu, and more), so the flavor changes with every bite.
